USSC Director of Economic Security Hayley Channer was featured in an article on Nine News about the implications of a Harris presidency for the US-Australia alliance and AUKUS.

"Kamala will continue Biden's policy approach," said Channer.

"AUKUS has value for all three countries – including the UK – and that's why they went to so much trouble to strike this deal in the first place."

Given the closeness of the relationship, Channer said: "We're likely to fare better than other countries, whether it's Trump or Harris."
