Before you submit your application, please make sure you can commit to the following dates:
- 29 February 2024: Applications open
- 22 April 2024: Application deadline at midnight AEST
Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis.
- Mid-May 2024: Scholarship recipients will be notified
- Late May 2024: Interviews at the US Consulate in Sydney
- 23 June 2024: Arrive in Los Angeles
- 24 June 2024: UCLA lectures begin
- 24 June 2024: Last day to add a unit on MyUCLA without incurring a late fee
- 02 August 2024: Session concludes
- 03 August 2024: Depart Los Angeles
- 05 August 2024: Arrive in Australia for the start of week 2 of semester 2 at the University of Sydney
Please note: Students are required to attend the full summer sessions at UCLA from 24 June to 02 August 2024. Due to the intensive nature of study, students are required to attend all timetabled classes.
Participants in the program will miss 'week 1' of semester 2, 2024. Please ensure you make the necessary arrangements.
