- Be currently enrolled in a University of Sydney undergraduate degree
- Have completed (or will complete by the end of Semester 1, 2024) at least 48 credit points of study
- Maintain a minimum credit average (65%)
- Showcase your potential to be a stellar representative for your university and the United States Studies Centre through your personal and academic qualities
- Have elective credit points available in your degree.
Additionally, we highly value:
- Cultural insight and a keen interest in the United States
- Previous completion of undergraduate units at the United States Studies Centre.

Great news for international students: You won't need to submit an English language test to UCLA as you've been admitted to the University of Sydney and have completed (or will complete by the end of semester 1, 2024) one year of university studies in English.
