Professor R. Craig Nation was Professor of Strategy and Director of Russian and Eurasian Studies at the US Army War College from 1996-2017. He is presently Professor of Strategic Studies at Dickinson College. He has also served as instructor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, Cornell University, and the US Army Russian Institute in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Professor Nation is a member of the Academic Council of the Institute for East Central and Balkan Europe at the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy.
