Biography

With over 20 years of service in the US government, Lisa's work centres on US policy toward the Indo-Pacific and South Asia. Curtis served as deputy assistant to the president and National Security Council senior director for South and Central Asia from 2017 to 2021. She previously served as senior fellow on South Asia at the Heritage Foundation and worked at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, State Department, Central Intelligence Agency, and at the US Embassies in Islamabad and New Delhi.
