The United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney was proud to host its annual Student Prize Night, recognising the outstanding achievements of students across our American Studies and broader course offerings in 2024–25.

This special evening brought together current and former students, staff, and friends of the Centre to celebrate academic excellence and the vibrant student community that continues to grow around our programs.

Academic Director Dr Rodney Taveira presented the awards, acknowledging the exceptional efforts of high-achieving students and the important role they play in shaping the future of American Studies. Along with their awards, students received a financial prize too, acknowledging their dedication and excellence.

Events like Prize Night highlight not only the academic success of our students but also the strong sense of connection that comes from being part of the USSC community. We look forward to seeing this tradition continue to grow in the years ahead.
