USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe talked to ABC Radio's AM program about President Joe Biden's decision to step down and what Kamala Harris' nomination could do for the Democrats.
"[Biden's'] position was politically terminal. Democrats lost confidence in his ability to run the race," said Wolpe.
He added that with Harris: "The enthusiasm factor can be back for the Democrats."
"Harris will not take away any Trump votes. The question is whether she can stop Trump from adding votes from historically Democratic constituencies. That will be her mission."
