Biography
Alice Nason is a Non-Resident Fellow at the United States Studies Centre. She is also a Fulbright Scholar and Brody Fellow at the University of Maryland, College Park. Alice’s research pertains to US Indo-Pacific strategy, Congressional politics, and Australian defence policy. Alice’s research has appeared in the Washington Quarterly, the Australian, the Australian Financial Review, War on the Rocks, the Conversation, the Strategist and the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, among other platforms.
Formerly, Alice was a Senior Research Associate in the Foreign Policy and Defence Program at the Centre. She was also the Vice President of the Australian Institute of International Affairs NSW, a research fellow at the Washington DC-based Global Business Policy Council and a business analyst at an international consultancy.
Alice holds a Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies with high distinction and First Class Honours from the University of Sydney.
