Biography

Yasuo Takamura commenced as Cabinet Councillor for the National Security Secretariat of Japan in 2021. Previously, he was the Director General, Budget, Personnel and Management Systems Department at the Asian Development Bank. He has also held various positions in the Ministry of Finance of Japan. He holds a BA in Law from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
