News.com.au reports that Australia’s air force chief has issued a warning about security in the Indo-Pacific — and hinted things could soon get a whole lot worse, with Incoming army chief, Lieutenant General Susan Coyle, remarking that it would be difficult to think that the "Australian Defence Force (ADF) could fight a modern war in its current state."
USSC Director of Foreign Policy and Defence remarks at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute Defence Conference, warning about Australia's lack of an integrated air and missile defence system, were quoted in the article, saying "If we can’t protect our forces, how can we talk about long-range strikes? That’s not credible to our adversary."
