After an escalating trade war threatened to uproot the global economy, the United States and China have agreed to temporarily reduce tariffs on each other's goods.

USSC Director of Economic Security Hayley Channer talked with ABC's The World Today on the tariff reductions, commenting that "there would have been concessions made on both sides."
