As the crucial mid-term elections near in the United States, Donald Trump has made Americans an extraordinary offer. If his Republican party keeps control of Congress, every American adult will get US $5000. And despite his disastrous approval rating he is also urging voters to "pretend he is on the ballot".
USSC CEO Dr Michael Green spoke with ABC on these developments, saying Independent and Democrat voters are unlikely to swing behind the Republicans because Donald Trump is offering adults $5000 if his party wins both chambers of Congress in November's mid-term elections. He also points out many Republican candidates will be worried about Trump urging voters to pretend he is on the ballot.
