This intensive two-week study tour will immerse you in the institutions, debates, and political energy shaping the United States during and immediately after the 2026 midterm elections. Through academic sessions, policy-focused visits, and on-the-ground engagement across Washington, DC and Philadelphia, you will explore how elections shape government, public policy, media, diplomacy, democracy, and America’s role in the world.

Designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students from the University of Sydney, the program will bring together expert-led learning and major institutional and cultural visits in two of America’s most politically significant cities.
