USSC Director of Foreign Policy and Defence Dr Lavina Lee spoke with Sky News on Iran's economic and political position following the US military blockade, saying that despite the blockade cutting off "around 80–90% of the regime's government revenue," Iran still has "control over the domestic security apparatus" allowing for Tehran to remain politically strong.
