Marketing and Outreach Officer, United States Studies Centre
Gopika is the Marketing and Outreach Officer at the United States Studies Centre. She works with the Communications team and provides social media, marketing and outreach support for the centre's policy-focused research, public events and academic programs. Previously, Gopika was a Research Associate at Mizuho India Japan Study Centre (MIJSC) at the Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore). She managed and produced editorial, marketing and stakeholder communication content for MIJSC's various programs and initiatives. Before that, she worked as Metadata Project Coordinator at Penguin Random House Australia and Bolinda Publishing Pvt. She also had a brief stint at the 2022 annual Screen Forever conference organised by Screen Producers Australia in social media communications, digital signages and asset creation.
Gopika is passionate about the big three — travel, literature and pop culture, and is a staunch advocate of SDGs, diversity and inclusion.
She holds a Master of Global Media Communication from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Mass Communication majoring in Journalism from Symbiosis International University, and a BA in English Literature from All Saints' College, Kerala, India.
