USSC CEO Dr Michael Green spoke with The Nightly about former national security advisor John Bolton's comments that the United States might abandon Taiwan in the scenario of a blockade. Dr Green noted, "Even if President Trump does not feel a particular attachment to Taiwan, the American people in polls and the US Congress and likely the majority of any Trump cabinet would feel a very strong attachment to security of the Western Pacific."
