Dr Janine Davidson

Dr Janine Davidson is an American public servant who has served as the president of the Metropolitan State University of Denver since 2017.
Biography
Dr Janine Davidson is president of Metropolitan State University of Denver and a national thought leader in both higher education and national security.
She previously served in the Pentagon as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Plans and as the 32nd Under Secretary of the US Navy.
A scholar of defence strategy and civil-military relations, she has served on numerous bipartisan commissions and advisory boards, most recently as Chair of the Defense Policy Board under Secretary Lloyd Austin. She began her career as a US Air Force officer and cargo pilot, becoming the first woman to fly the tactical C-130.
