Director of Foreign Policy and Defence Professor Peter Dean is interviewed by ABC Radio National's PM program to discuss Korean company Hanwha's successful bid to build new infantry fighting vehicles for the Australian army.
Professor Dean says "It is pleasing to see the government has been able to negotiate that this will be a vehicle that we will produce in Australia, in Geelong in Victoria, and of course, [that it] will be delivered two years earlier than originally planned."
