USSC Research Editor Victoria Cooper discusses Trump's appearance in a Washington DC Court of Appeals as Trump attempts to argue that he has presidential immunity from an election subversion case against him.
Cooper says that the trial's oral arguments are currently due to commence in the week of the important Super Tuesday elections in March, and that "the more appeals and delays that occur, the better it is for Trump."
Cooper also tells Sky News that "every time he appears in these criminal cases... it drums up support from his loyal supporter base."
