The United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney hosted an invite-only roundtable discussion with president and CEO of Women's World Banking Mary Ellen Iskenderian. The discussion focused on US and global progress in promoting women in financial services leadership.

    Mary Ellen Iskenderian was a visitor at the US Studies Centre in 2015. She is President and CEO of Women’s World Banking, the global nonprofit devoted to giving more low-income women access to the financial tools and resources they require to achieve security and prosperity. Previously, Iskenderian worked at the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank and the investment bank Lehman Brothers.
