    Steven J. Ross was a visitor at the US Studies Centre in 2011. Ross is Professor of History at the University of Southern California and Director of the USC Casden Institute for the Study of the Jewish Role in American Life. He has written extensively in the areas of working-class history, social history, film history, and political history and is the author of several books. His works have apepared in the Los Angeles Times, International Herald-Tribune, HuffingtonPost, and Washington Independent, among others.
