Martin Kaplan was a visitor at the US Studies Centre in 2011. Kaplan is the Norman Lear Chair in Entertainment, Media and Society and Director of the Norman Lear Centre at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. His uncommonly broad career has also spanned government and politics, the entertainment industry and journalism.
