The Alliance 21 Program hosted an off-the-record roundtable discussion with Dr Patrick Cronin, Senior Advisor and Senior Director of the Asia-Pacific Security Program at the Center for a New American Security.

Dr Cronin provided a US perspective on the issues and developments in the South and East China Seas. This included an overview of recent US government efforts, ongoing work with allies and partners to mitigate tension and, most importantly, efforts to prevent maritime disputes from adversely affecting the future of US-China Relations.
