Abstract: This talk drew on Professor Williams recent co-authored book World of the Right (Cambridge University Press, 2024) and a series of excellent articles he has written on American right-wing politics and its impact on US foreign policy. This body of work that Professor Williams spoke about is one of the rare examples of scholarship that brings a deep understanding of both American conservatism and International Relations theory into dialogue.
