And that’s based on common history together and common values and shared interests, but it’s really the structural impact of China’s more coercive and assertive and worrisome behaviour.
This means our alliance is now going to become much more interdependent, Australia’s going to need the US technology and industrial base in an entirely new way with AUKUS. The US is going to be relying on Australia just because of geography.", Dr Green said.
