Joe Biden has been officially designated as the apparent winner of the US election by an administrator in the Trump federal government. After the state of Michigan certified its election results, the Trump-appointed official in charge of formalising the transition named Joe Biden as the election's winner. The designation by the official, Emily Murphy, apparently came with the blessing of President Trump, who tweeted that "our case STRONGLY continues"... but that "I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols." ABC's RN Drive interviewed USSC non-resident fellow Jennifer Hunt about these new developments.
