USSC Research Editor Victoria Cooper is interviewed on ABC Radio National PM Program amid fresh charges for former president Donald Trump, this time over his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. The Trump Campaign is continuing to dismiss the indictments, as part of a political witch-hunt against the former President. And - despite all of his legal problems - Donald Trump is still the firm frontrunner to win the Republican nomination.

Ms Cooper says "Trump's primary base of Republican voters are very rusted on. In fact, the last couple of criminal charges we've seen mounted against Donald Trump has only increased support from his voter base, and also increased the amount of small dollar donors funding his campaign."
