USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe talks to the Fear and Greed podcast about the Democratic Party's "freak out" after President Joe Biden's shaky performance in the presidential debate and the odds of him stepping down before the election.
"The question is, is there a road to victory for Biden after what happened?" says Wolpe. "No one can see it."
He added that replacing him however, would also be dangerous for the Democrats. "A whole lot of other people feel that this would be extremely divisive, very bitter with a whole bunch of disappointment," he said.
"All that leads to the logic of (Biden) staying in the race."
