USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe talks to ABC Radio's AM about what Donald Trump's guilty verdict in a Manhattan court room means for his presidential campaign.

While the felony charges may crimp his support among independents and some Republicans, "as far as his base is concerned, this amps up their support for Trump even more," says Wolpe.

He adds that it remains to be seen whether President Joe Biden can use the verdict to reverse his unpopularity in the polls.

"Can Biden use this moment to reframe the race as to who he's running against - now a convicted felon?" says Wolpe. "If he can do that, yes, this will be a reset moment."
