USSC Associate Professor Dr David Smith talked to The Chaser Report podcast about how the shooting of Donald Trump will affect the strategy of the Biden campaign.
"Democrats are really going to be watching themselves over the next few weeks, really muting their criticism of Trump, because they don't want it be interpreted as a threat or an endorsement of violence against Trump," said Dr Smith.
"Given that mobilising the anti-Trump vote is basically all that Biden's got at the moment - it's effectively going to be impossible for him to campaign.
"It may well increase the calls on him to resign."
