USSC CEO Dr Michael Green tells The Sydney Morning Herald that although Republican primary candidate Nikki Haley is unlikely to want to be former president Trump's 2024 running mate, "she would definitely help" to widen Trump's electoral appeal.
Haley would "probably peel more votes away from Trump than Biden, but that’s not a given," says Green, and “in another election or two she could be a credible candidate for the White House.”
