USSC Research Editor Victoria Cooper appears on Sky News after the Washington DC Court of Appeals heard Donald Trump's arguments based on claims of presidential immunity, as he attempts to get his federal election interference case dismissed.
Cooper says that "this is all about timing," with the significant Iowa caucuses just a week away.
"When he was arraigned in Georgia and New York last year he received US$1 million in small dollar donations... Keeping this in the mind of voters ahead of primaries and caucuses is really beneficial to Trump in terms of boosting his support."
