USSC Associate Professor Dr David Smith talks to ABC Radio's Sydney Breakfast about Donald Trump's guilty verdict in his hush money trial; the likelihood of him going to jail; and ongoing support for him despite the conviction.
"It really shows how political identity has become everything in the United States," says Dr Smith.
"If part of your political identity is a real commitment to Trump, then nothing is going to change your mind about it."
