Australia is going to see a bit of a ‘hit to naval capability’

USSC Foreign Policy and Defence Director Professor Peter Dean appears on Sky News to discuss the independent analysis of Royal Australian Navy surface combatant fleet capability.

Professor Dean says that in the short term, Australia is going to see a bit of a “hit to naval capability.”

“This is just the lived reality of the fact that we have had over a decade of no changing decisions or capabilities that haven’t been able to be produced on time and on budget.”
