Lily Manning is a Research Intern with the Foreign Policy and Defence Program at the United States Studies Centre. She is currently completing her honours in International and Global Studies at the University of Sydney, attached to a Bachelors of Arts and Advanced Studies. Her thesis examines the role of nationalism in US and Australian Foreign Policy towards the People’s Republic of China since 1949. Lily completed an exchange in International Relations at SciencesPo Paris.
