The US Studies Centre will be awarding up to 2 x AUD$2500 merit based scholarships to successful applicants with the highest WAMs from the University of Sydney. The Perth USAsiaCentre will also award up to 2 x AUD$2500 merit based scholarships to the successful applicants with the highest WAMs from UWA. These scholarships are supported by the USA Foundation, which was established by USSC Board Director David Anstice. Since 2012, twelve students have received USA Foundation scholarships worth a combined value of $40,000.
The US Studies Centre and Perth USAsia Centre will be awarding equity based scholarships based on financial need and academic merit to successful applicants. Please complete the special equity consideration section of the application form to be considered. The equity based scholarships are partial scholarships.
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences will be awarding 6 x AUD$3,000 merit based scholarships to successful applicants with the highest WAMs from the The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney.
All scholarship recipients will be notified when they receive their offer letter for the UCLA program. All Scholarships will be paid prior to departure.
Eligible students will be able to apply for an OS-HELP Loan. OS-HELP can be used for a range of expenses such as airfares, accommodation, and other travel or study expenses. Students can apply for a maximum loan of up to $6,567. Students who gain a place in the UCLA Study Abroad Program will be instructed on how to apply at the first pre-departure session in April.
