Zoe Meers

Zoe Meers is a Data Visualisation Analyst and Research Assistant at the United States Studies Centre. Her primary academic research interests are public opinion and political behaviour in the United States. She is particularly interested in applying quantitative methods, including data visualisation, to the fields of public policy and political science.

Her analysis has appeared in the Washington Post’s Monkey Cage, The Canberra Times, and the ABC.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in Statistics and Data Science at Smith College in Massachusetts. Prior to joining the United States Studies Centre, she interned with the Centre for Multiparty Democracy in Kenya and worked as a Research Assistant in the social sciences in the US, France, and Australia. In 2018, she was a Google News Lab Fellow in data journalism with the ABC News Story Lab.
