Beau Magloire is the Student Recruitment Manager at the US Studies Centre. Magloire is a marketer and film-maker based in Sydney. He has been involved in recruitment across all faculties at the University of Sydney, and in particular, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Magloire has also produced video content for a number of corporate and creative bodies including Destination New South Wales, the University of Sydney, and Australian music artists and clothing brands such as LMO, Raseth and A Class.
Magloire acted as Festival Director for the Secret Cinema film festival as part of a larger initiative between Sydney College of the Arts and Sydney Underground Film Festival. He has extensive recruitment experience across Asia, hosting an art tour, and multiple recruitment events in Hong Kong, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia. He also speaks a little Mandarin.
Magloire was one of the keynote speakers at the 2016 Australia Council for the Arts Marketing Summit, as part of the 'Valuing the Best - Presentations from four of the best campaigns' section, and is involved in a creative start-up in Sydney centred around incubation of musical talent locally.
Magloire completed a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) at the University of Sydney, with a major in Marketing.
