Head of Business Development, United States Studies Centre
Beau Magloire is the Head of Business Development at the US Studies Centre. Beau has a background in marketing and film making. In his time at the University of Sydney, Beau conducted student recruitment and engagement at various points for the faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, and the creative faculties.
Beau acted as Festival Director for the Secret Cinema film festival as part of a larger initiative between Sydney College of the Arts and Sydney Underground Film Festival.
He has wide experience in engagement in Asia, conducting recruitment events throughout the north and south-east regions, and hosting an art tour throughout China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea.
Beau was one of the keynote speakers at the 2016 Australia Council for the Arts Marketing Summit, as part of the 'Valuing the Best - Presentations from four of the best campaigns’ section.
Beau has won awards for the creation of an internship program at the University of Sydney, and from the Swiss-based international student recruitment company Goodwall for "Admission Team of the Month – Global" (February, 2017).
Beau completed a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) at the University of Sydney, with a major in Marketing. He is currently studying a Master of International Relations with a minor in International Law at the University of Sydney.
