Students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge to real-world problems through an internship in an American-based or affiliated business, government, or non-government organisation located in Australia or the US (subject to COVID travel restrictions) as part of the postgraduate American Foreign Policy Specialisation.

The Internship Project requires the completion of a research project on behalf of the workplace partner. In order to be considered, a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 70% is required. Admission is subject to departmental approval.
