Merit and Equity Based
The US Studies Centre will be awarding equity and merit based scholarships based on financial need and academic merit to successful applicants. Please complete the special equity consideration section of the application form to be considered. These scholarships are partial scholarships. Some of these scholarships are supported by the USA Foundation, which was established by USSC Board Director David Anstice. Since 2012, twelve students have received USA Foundation scholarships worth a combined value of $40,000.
Eligible students will be able to apply for an OS-HELP Loan. OS-HELP can be used for a range of expenses such as airfares, accommodation, and other travel or study expenses. Students can apply for a maximum loan of up to $6,791. Students who gain a place on the Georgetown Study Abroad Program will be instructed on how to apply at a pre-departure session in April. For more information about the loan scheme and to see if you’re eligible, please visit the University of Sydney OS-HELP page or the UNSW OS-HELP page.
