Not since the end of the Cold War have Americans been so troubled by the prospect of a nuclear winter, and it shows in Google data. When the average user asks a question of the search engine, that data is collected into an application called Google Trends, which keeps track of what the world is searching for. And at the moment, the world is searching for news about North Korea like never before. In this article, USSC research fellow Brendan Thomas-Noone provides information in response to some of the most common questions America is asking Google about North Korea.
