Elliott Brennan spoke to Melbourne's Triple R Radio about the recently released report 'Public opinion in the age of Trump'. He says despite decades of cultural exchange between Australians and Americans, when polled on issues like social security, healthcare and government intervention more generally there are stark differences in opinion between the two. He says this can be traced back to their founding myths and the prevelance of socialist policies around Australia's federation.
