The murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi will have serious ramifications on US-Saudi relations, US Studies Centre Visiting Fellow Bruce Wolpe has told Sky News. Wolpe said it’s likely no US ambassador would be appointed to Saudi Arabia and Congress will review arms sales to the nation. However, he believes retaliations will come at a cost the US, as Saudi Arabia is its 'diplomatic linchpin’ in the region.
