US-China trade war escalates as China devalues the yuan

There are fears US-Chinese trade tensions have erupted into a full-scale currency war, after Beijing rocked world stock markets by devaluing the yuan. USSC senior fellow Dr John Lee was interviewed about this issue on ABC RN Breakfast.

Dr John Lee was previously a Senior Fellow (non-resident) at the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. He is a Senior Fellow (non-resident) at the Hudson Institute in Washington DC. From 2016-2018, he was senior adviser to Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.
