The Sydney Morning Herald took an in-depth look at the latest report published by the United States Studies Centre looking at whether the United States has the military will to uphold the balance of Power.
The report, authored by RAND Corporation researcher and former deputy assistant secretary of defence David Ochmanek argues that on the current fiscal trajectory, the United States will not be able to be able to keep up with the financial costs of effectively managing its strategic alliance networks in the Indo-Pacific.
