Australian telcos could be forced to dump Huawei smartphones should they become a security risk if they can't access Android software updates.
It is one of the scenarios that could eventuate if the Chinese telecommunications provider and phone maker is marginalised in the Australian smartphone market due to a US ban imposed by the Trump administration.
