After giving a speech on global governance last week at Duke University, US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley was asked whether the US would have a female president in the not-too-distant future. She replied "absolutely". Pushed further on whether there would be an Indian-American female president, or in other words, asked would she run for office, she quipped: "I'm trying to survive this job right now."
