US Studies Centre Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe says that President Donald Trump “refusing” to have any one of his people testify and provide documents in the impeachment hearing is a “burning issue among the House”.
Wolpe told Sky News Democrats would be unable to do their job if Republicans did not speak in the House.
“No one expects the Republicans to break with the president and the leadership and support the conviction of Donald Trump,” he said.
