US President Donald Trump has shrugged off warnings in a USSC report that China could wipe out almost all American, allied and partner bases, airstrips, ports and military installations in the western Pacific in the opening hours of a conflict. Mr Trump, asked by a reporter at the White House on Tuesday if the USSC report is something that "keeps you up at night", responded that no other nation comes close to competing with the US military.
