It's been nearly six months into the presidency of Donald Trump and his public approval rating is at an historic low.

It's not been helped by the ongoing Russia investigation, the unpopular attempts to repeal Obamacare and a perceived lack of leadership on the world stage.

But Professor Simon Jackman, CEO of the United States Studies Centre and author of "Impeachment 101: The history, process and prospect of a Trump impeachment" says impeachment of President Trump is unlikely because of his high approval rating amongst Republican politicians.
